Juana Martha Cedeno

Our beloved mother, Juana Martha Cedeño, age 99, entered eternal rest on February 26, 2021 just a few days short of her 100th birthday. Juana was born on March 8, 1921 in Chone, Ecuador to Jose Bendito and Juana Dolores Chavarria. Her passing leaves her family heartbroken, but also with many wonderful memories of a long life filled with abundant love and devotion. She will be remembered in every beautiful flower we see. Juana was preceded in death by her husband, Pedro P. Cedeno (4-4-2008). She is survived by her children: Hilda Acuña, Estela (Julio) Valencia, Ramon (Yomayra), Guillermo (Angela), Mariana (David), Douglas (d. Leonor), Vicente (Maria), George (Danelis), John (Mercy), Roger (Ruth), Nerella (Jacob) Macias, Pedro, Jose (Lisa) and Rocio (Saul) Hernandez; her 47 grandchildren; her many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. All of whom she loved and touched deeply. Visitation in Florida will be on Sunday, 3/7/21 from 9am-12pm with a prayer service at 10am at Aycock at Tradition, 12570 SW Tradition Parkway, Port St. Lucie, FL. Visitation in New Jersey will be held on Tuesday, March 9th, 2021 from 7:00pm-9:00pm in Funeraria Alvarez, 66 Passaic Avenue, Passaic NJ (friends and Family). Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 10th, 2021 at 10:00am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 10 Saint Francis Way, Passaic NJ. Entombment, to follow for family only, at 11:15am in East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Avenue, Clifton NJ. In keeping with the current state mandates for both FL and NJ regarding COVID-19, face coverings must be worn by all visitors before entering the funeral home and visitors are also asked to observe social distancing. Visitors are asked to greet the family and then exit the funeral home so that others may also visit due to the limited, allowable capacity.
