Samuel Hernandez

Samuel Hernandez (52), of Garfield, died on Monday. Born in Brooklyn, New York and has lived in New Jersey for more than 26 years. Mr. Hernandez was a real estate investor. He has many past accomplishments, such as being a marathon runner, kick-boxing champion, and much more. Surviving are his wife, the former Nancy Quiles; 2 sons, Samuel Jr. and Nicholas, both of Garfield; a daughter, Mallory Perez, of Belleville; 1 granddaughter; a son-in-law; 3 brothers; 1 sister; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held Friday, May 11th, 2012, from 5-9 p.m. & Saturday, May 12th, 2012, from 9:00am-11:00am at Funeraria Alvarez, 66 Passaic Avenue, Passaic, NJ 07055. Burial, Saturday, 11:30am, at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton, NJ.
