Sarai Vazquez

Sarai Vazquez (75) of Old Bridge, formerly of Passaic for over 50 years, passed away on Monday, July 3rd, 2017. Born in Naguabo, Puerto Rico to Ciriaco Garcia and Matilde Nazario. Survived by her husband, Roman; 2 daughters, Yvette & Migdalia; 1 son, Timoteo; 3 brothers, Daniel, Elizier, & Abner; 2 sisters, Adelaida & Matilda; and 4 grandchildren.

She was the business owner of Sarai Dress Boutique, and the Senatorial and Congressional award winning civic leader of the Passaic Community.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 9th, 2017 from 3:00pm-6:00pm in Funeraria Alvarez, 66 Passaic Avenue, Passaic NJ. Entombment will take place on Monday, July 10th, 2017 at 10:30am in Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery, 21 Maple Avenue, Fair Lawn, NJ.
