Altagracia Melania Rodgers, 75, of Passaic, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026. She leaves behind a legacy of deep faith, love, and selfless devotion to her family and community.

Altagracia was a devoted woman of God whose faith guided her entire life. She loved the Lord deeply and found strength in prayer and scripture, especially Psalm 23 and Psalm 91. Her daily life reflected kindness, generosity, and unwavering care for others. She always put her family and others before herself, offering love, support, and comfort to anyone in need.

She found joy in simple blessings—cooking homemade Dominican meals, caring for her plants, keeping her home warm and welcoming, and spending time with her loved ones. Her vibrant personality, strong spirit, and sense of humor brought light and laughter to those around her.

Above all, she loved her family fiercely and wished for unity and peace among them.

She is survived by her loving children, grandchildren, and family: Lenis, Maria, Rosa, Marbelie, Yordy, Jeremy, Marvin, and family.

We take comfort in her faith and her own words of hope: “Death is never the end. Death is a transition. The best is yet to come.”

Rest in eternal peace, Altagracia. You were deeply loved, will be greatly missed, and will forever remain in our hearts.
