Aracelis Almonte Vargas

The world lost a beloved mother, Aracelis “Chelo” Almonte Vargas, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, October 6th, 2021. Born in the Dominican Republic to Ramon Almonte and Melida Vargas. She was a humble, caring and a loving person who filled everyone’s hearts with her warm hugs. She is survived by her four children, Elba Ureña, Carmen “Celi” Vidal, Jose and Giovanni Jimenez . Besides her children, Aracelis is also survived by, her five siblings, nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Viewing will be held Tuesday, October 12th, 2021 from 5:00pm-9:00pm in Funeraria Alvarez, 66 Passaic Avenue, Passaic NJ. Burial will take place on Wednesday, October 13th, 2021 at 11:30am in Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery, 21 Maple Avenue, Fair Lawn NJ.
