Bienvenido Roman Rosa

Bienvenido Roman Rosa (87) of Passaic for over 60 years, passed away on Monday, December 20th, 2021. Born in Manati, Puerto Rico to the late Santos Roman Reyes and Angela Rosa Burgos. Pre-deceased by his siblings, Juanita, Candida, Sandalia, Dolores, Lydia, Reymundo, and Manuel. Beloved husband of Elida Roman (nee Cruz Freytes), brother of Santos, Angela, Vicente, Candida, and Elida. He met and married the love of his life Elida "Lela" Roman on July 1, 1961. He was a member and official of the Christian Pentecostal Church in Passaic since 1959. There he also served as treasurer, teacher, and occasionally preacher. Bienve worked approximately 30 years and retired from the Bee Paper Company founded in Passaic. All along he served for over 40 years as a consultant, notary public, and tax preparer to the residents of Passaic and adjacent towns. He was an honorable man after God's own heart, humble, loving, and kind. He served wholeheartedly. There is so much to say about his goodness toward his family, church, clients, and anyone he came in contact with. Bienvenido is survived by many nieces and nephews who considered him a second father because of his unconditional love and caring nature. He was loved and will be missed by so many. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 26th, 2021 from 4:00pm-8:00pm in Funeraria Alvarez, 66 Passaic Avenue, Passaic NJ, and on Monday, December 27th, 2021 from 5:00pm-9:00pm in Iglesia Cristina Pentecostal, 86 Market Street, Passaic NJ. Burial will take place on Tuesday, December 28th, 2021 at 11:30am in East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Avenue, Clifton NJ.
