Dolly Maximina Cardenas

Dolly Maximina Cardenas (80) of Paterson, passed away on Tuesday, March 16th, 2021. Born in Chicama La Libertad, Peru to Sixtilio Garcia and Aurora Julca de Garcia. She emigrated to the United States in 1969. Survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Eulogio Cardenas; daughters, Carmen, Doris, and Dolly; grandchildren, Nina, Aaron, Roman, Alex, Luis Tuesta, and Kenneth Bueno; grandchildren, Nia, Jaydez, Nathan, Ian, and Kai; siblings and in-laws, Oswaldo and Luz Quezada, Hilda and Luis Castillo, America and Alejandro Makino, the late Felipe Sixtilio Garcia Julca (2-12-2020) and Rebeca Garcia, Jaime and Martha Garcia, Simon and Carmen Garcia, Sara Mantilla, and Sixtilio and Nelly Garcia. The entire Catholic community, The Lady of Miracles, who she received in her home for 40 consecutive years every first Sunday in October after Mass, the multitude of faithful carried The Lady of Miracles on their shoulders and full of faith to the doors of her home to bless her home. She welcomed the faithful devotees and offered them a humble inn, a symbol of love to the crucified Jesus through her children. Thus, the most holy mother of Carmen, picked up Dolly and took her to paradise with our omnipotent Jesus to meet with her parents and daughter, Flor de Maria, and son, Miguel Angel, grandson, Vicente, and brother Felipe. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 21st, 2021 from 4:00pm-8:00pm in Funeraria Alvarez, 66 Passaic Avenue, Passaic NJ. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 22nd, 2021 at 9:30am in St. John's Cathedral, 381 Main Street, Paterson NJ. Burial, to follow, at 10:00am in Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery, 21 Maple Avenue, Fair Lawn NJ.
