Emerita Cuevas, 75, of Passaic, NJ, passed away on February 23, 2025. Born in Lares, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Santos Cuevas and Othilia Vargas. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Funeraria Alvarez, with a second visitation on Monday, March 10, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at 10:45 AM at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa, NJ.
