Felicita Salvaggio

Felicita Salvaggio, of Woodland Park, NJ, passed away on July 16th, 2024 at the age of 92. Born in Lima, Peru, she was the beloved daughter of Cristina Da Silva and Moises Garcia. She immigrated to the United States in 1974 and lived in Passaic, NJ until 1996 when she moved to Woodland Park, NJ.

She is survived by her loving husband, Paul Salvaggio, her sons Jesus Velez (Maltha Velez), Carlos Velez (Maria Isabel Velez), and Cesar Velez, and her two step-daughters Irene Salvaggio (Douglas Hoover) and Marie Salvaggio-Marx (Eric Marx). She was a beloved Abuelita to 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grand children.

In the United States she had different jobs, one job she had was working in a clothing warehouse for 8-10 years. She spent her later years enjoying her life with her husband. She had many hobbies, such as cooking, sewing, baking, traveling, and enjoying time with friends and family. She spent many years taking care of her grandchildren.

She will be forever remembered as a kind, loving, and devout woman.
