Francisco Cosme Davila, born May 11, 1943 in Santurce, San Juan PR, passed away on March 30, 2026.

Francisco “Paco” Cosme, a proud Puerto Rican, dedicated firefighter, and Army Reserve volunteer, passed away on March 30, 2026 at the age of 82. Paco was a man of service, strength, and deep love for his family and community.

Above all, Paco was a devoted family man. He is survived by his wife, Lucila Ortiz, and his children: Lino Cosme, Alejandrina Cosme, Celia Cosme, Pedro Galdon, Nydia Galdon, Juan Galdon, and Enid Pilarte; along with many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward his legacy of love, laughter, and resilience.

Paco will be remembered for his larger-than-life personality. He was boisterous, goofy, and always ready to make someone smile. He had a gift for bringing joy into everyday moments—never missing an opportunity to lighten the mood or share a laugh.

Many who knew and loved him will forever hold onto the simple, cherished image of Paco sitting shirtless on the front porch, soaking in warm summer days, surrounded by family, conversation, and love. Those moments captured the heart of who he was: present, joyful, and deeply connected to the people he loved most.

His life was one of service, both to his country and his community, but his greatest pride was always his family. Paco’s spirit will live on in every shared laugh, every family gathering, and every memory made in his honor.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Services will be held at Alvarez Funeraria Inc, located at 66 Passaic Ave, Passaic, NJ 07055, United States. A visitation is scheduled for April 4, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
