Jaime Lebron De Leon

Jaime Lebron (62) of Clifton, passed away on Tuesday, November 6th, 2012. Born in Gurabo, Puerto Rico, on the 7th of August, 1950 to Maria DeLeon and Maximino Lebron. He was the ninth of ten children, which included five sisters and four brothers. He is predeceased by his sister Carmen Lebron, and three brothers, Manimino, Antonio, and Juan Lebron. His remaining siblings are Raul Lebron, Maria Lebron, Digna Agrinsonis, Delia Lucena, and Milagros Lebron. He graduated from Gurabo High School in 1968 and then moved to Passaic NJ, where he met a young lady by the name of Lydia Lozano. The couple married a few years later and soon had two sons, Jaime Lebron, Jr. and Jason Lebron. He was also the grandfather of three granddaughters, Gianni, Jailyn, and Kamryn Lebron. In 1971, he was employed by Melrose Display in Passaic NJ. He worked his way up to department supervisor and remained with the company for 35 years. For the last few years, he worked DAF Products in Wycoff, NJ, where he retired. For many years, he was an active member of the Rincon Social Club. He was an avid baseball fan, and his favorite team was the New York Mets. He also developed a passion for football and liked the New York Giants, but the thing he loved most was music and dancing. Salsa music was his favorite. Some of his favorite artists include, Hector Lavoe, El Gran Combo, and Frankie Ruiz. He enjoyed singing and dancing. If you knew Jimmy, I am sure you knew that dancing was the one thing he enjoyed the most! Visitation will be held on Friday, November 9th, 2012 from 5:00pm-9:00pm in Funeraria Alvarez, 66 Passaic Avenue, Passaic NJ. Burial will take place on Saturday, November 10th, 2012 at 11:00am in East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton NJ.
