John Laureda

John “Johnny” Laureda Jr. of Clifton, NJ age 58, entered eternal rest surrounded by his family in Hackensack, NJ on Monday, June 03, 2024.

He was born on July 20, 1965 in Suffern, NY. He was the son of John Laureda and Georgina Gonzalez-Laureda. He came to live in Passaic, NJ at the age of 19. He later established residence in Clifton, NJ.

John worked for the City of Passaic for many years and then worked for Xanadu Adult Medical Daycare Center as the Administrator.

John was a devoted and loving father to Alexis Laureda, Joshua Laureda, Matthew John Laureda, Gina Marie Laureda, Jonathan Alex Laureda, Lamar John Laureda and Marcus John Laureda, who dearly miss him and the life lessons he imparted to them.

John was preceded in death by his father, John Laureda and sister, Rosemary Laureda-Meade, and is survived by his 7 children and 7 grandchildren, Jondel Rashaun Chalmers-Laureda, Jiselle Mariel Laureda, Camryn John Laureda, Julianna Marie Laureda, Aniyah’Lee Laureda, Jaycob Samuel Laureda and Jaynen Carlos Feliciano-Laureda.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 7th, 2024 from 5:00pm-9:00pm in Funeraria Alvarez, 66 Passaic Avenue, Passaic NJ. Burial will take place on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 at 11:00am in East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Avenue, Clifton NJ.
