Lidia Monge

Lidia Monge (87), also known as Lidia Pimentel Vda de Monge, of Clifton, entered into eternal rest on August 24th, 2022 in Peru. Lidia was born in 1934 in Peru to Augusto Pimentel and Carmen Duran. Loving mother of seven and adoring wife to her late husband Carlos Monge Tovar (2003).

She always gave all her time to her family. As a mother she was generous, loving and kind. Devoted wife, daughter, sister and aunt; bringing a helping hand to the ones who need it. She was called “mama Lidia” by so many that she met.

Lidia was an anointed cook who loved to enjoy delicious meals. She liked knitting and sawing.

Lidia praised Almighty God to the very end of her life here on this earth.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her brothers and sister.

Sleep on beloved Lidia take you rest, we will see you again.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 10th, 2022 from 8:30am-10:30am in Funeraria Alvarez, 66 Passaic Avenue, Passaic NJ. Burial, to follow, at 11:00am in East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Avenue, Clifton NJ.
