Luis Angel Gonzalez

Luis Angel Gonzalez, of Passaic, NJ, passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 82. He was born on March 10, 1942, in Maricao, Puerto Rico, to Ramon Gonzalez and Santia Santiago. He is survived by his wife, Dalila Gonzalez, his son Louis A.Gonzalez Jr., and daughters Avis Gonzalez, and Shaina Gonzalez. He was a proud grandfather to Elijah L. Summerville, Ivan Nuñez Jr., Caleb Nuñez, Maverick P. Harris and Xavier Brown, who brought him great joy throughout his life. Luis dedicated over 42 years of service to Red & Tan Bus Lines, now known as Coach USA, before retiring at the age of 70. Though dementia became a part of his journey, it never dimmed his spirit, humor, and playful personality. He was always ready with a joke, a smile, or a helping hand. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Alvarez, 66 Passaic Avenue, Passaic, NJ 07055. A second visitation will take place on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location, followed by burial at 10:30 AM at Crest Haven Memorial Park, 750 Passaic Avenue, Clifton, NJ 07012.

A repass luncheon will be held after the burial at Prince of Peace Church / Iglesia Principe de Paz, 70 Howe Ave, Passaic, NJ 07055
