Lydia Muniz

Lydia Muniz, born on October 8, 1938, in Puerto Rico, passed away on August 2, 2025. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, leaving behind a legacy of family and cherished memories.

Lydia is survived by her children, Lydia Muniz, Evelyn Reyes, and Danny Muniz; her grandchildren, Leslie York, Pedro Reyes, and Terence Muniz; and her great-grandchildren, Daniel Torres, Celeste Alvarez, Desiree Alvarez, Eva Reyes, and Camilla Reyes, as well as her great-great-grandchild, Zyon Marquez.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Muniz, and her granddaughter, Lori Claudio.

Visitation services will be held at Alvarez Funeraria Inc, located at 66 Passaic Ave, Passaic, NJ 07055, on August 10, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and again on August 11, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Avenue, Clifton, NJ 07014, at 10:30 AM on August 11, 2025.
