Margarita Vazquez

Margarita Vazquez nee Rodriguez (Margot), 81, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2023 at her home in Passaic, New Jersey. Margarita was born in Maricao, Puerto Rico on June 9th 1942 to Marlen Elena Rivera and Emiliano Rodriguez.

For some years, she worked at Digital Equipment Corp. in San Germán, Puerto Rico, but most of her life at home dedicating her life to her husband and children.

Margarita enjoyed singing with her husband especially as a trovadora versal.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Maria Elena Vazquez, her son

Luis A. Vazquez and wife Lillian, her grandchild, Christian Ortiz, Matthew Vazquez, and Marcus Vazquez, her siblings José Antonio Rodriguez (Toni), Delia Vargas and husband Ferdinand, Martina Rodriguez and numerous nieces and nephews.

Margarita is preceded in death by her husband Luis A. Vazquez Sr. (Freddy), her daughter Delia Estelle Vazquez, her brothers Alcario Rodriguez (Callo), Emiliano Rodriguez Jr., and Jose Rodriguez (Pucho).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, December 16th, 2023 from 4:00pm-8:00pm in Funeraria Alvarez, 66 Passaic Avenue, Passaic NJ. Cremation will be private with a mass TBA at a later date.
