It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Maria Consuelo Ruiz, passed away on June 9, 2026.

Maria was born on April 2, 1938, in San Sebastián, and lived a life filled with love, faith, strength, and devotion to her family. She was the cherished wife of the late Celestino Ruiz, with whom she shared many years of love and companionship.

Maria was a devoted mother to her six children: Ramon Ruiz, Luis Ruiz, Juan Ruiz, Samuel Ruiz, Pedro Ruiz, and Maria Rodriguez. Her children were her greatest pride and joy, and she dedicated her life to caring for and supporting her family through every season of life.

She was a woman of deep faith whose kindness, wisdom, and unconditional love touched everyone who knew her. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the comfort of knowing that family came first. She taught her children and grandchildren the importance of faith, perseverance, compassion, and love.

Maria leaves behind her loving children, grandchildren, extended family, and countless friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her. While our hearts are broken by her loss, we find peace in knowing that she is now reunited with her beloved husband, Celestino, and her son Pedro, resting in the eternal peace of God’s loving embrace.

Her legacy of faith, love, strength, and family will live on through all who were blessed to know her.

Rest in peace, Mom. Your love will remain in our hearts forever. You will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered every day. ️️

Services will be conducted at Alvarez Funeraria Inc, located at 66 Passaic Ave, Passaic, NJ 07055, United States. Visitation hours are scheduled for June 16, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and again on June 17, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. A burial service will follow on June 17, 2026, beginning at 10:45 a.m. at Laurel Grove Cemetery, 295 Totowa Road, Totowa, NJ 07512, United States.
