Mary Lou Luglio

Mary Lou Luglio (92) of Lyndhurst, passed away on Monday, December 14th, 2020. Born June 14, 1928 in Kentucky to William Parkey and Sarah York. In 1946, she married the love of her life, Joseph, after meeting him while stationed in Danville, KY. They resided in Lyndhurst, New Jersey where they raised their beautiful family. Mary Lou worked at Certified Metals, in Clifton. She was a member of the Nutley Elks, AARP of Lyndhurst, and an active parishioner of Sacred Heart Church. She loved making Sunday dinners for her family, family vacations, and trips with her clubs. Pre-deceased by her husband, Joseph John Luglio, Sr. (1-1-2009), and her son-in-law, Bradford Haberlin. Survived by her three children, Lois Diane Zelna and her husband John Zelna, of Belleville, Joanne Haberlin-Luglio and her husband William Schwartz of Toms River, and Joseph Luglio, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Wayne. Also survived by her six grandchildren, Nicole Farina, Wayne Zelna, Evan Haberlin, Alexis Luglio, Joseph Luglio, and Dante Luglio; and her six great grandchildren Madison, James, Daniel, Justin, Nicolas and Alexander. In lieu of flowers please donate to St. Jude or a charity of your choice. A private visitation will be held on Saturday, January 2nd, 2021 from 4:00pm-8:00pm in Funeraria Alvarez, 66 Passaic Avenue, Passaic NJ. Burial will take place on Monday, January 4th, 2021 at 11:30am in Hillside Cemetery, 742 Rutherford Avenue, Lyndhurst NJ.
