Modesto Espejo

Modesto Antonio Espejo (54) of Paterson, passed away on Saturday, May 30th, 2015. Modesto was born on April 12th, 1961 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to the late Almarante Espejo and Cristobalina Gonzalez. Modesto is survived by his daughter, Genesis Espejo, and his granddaughter, Lia. He is the cherished brother of Juliana Espejo, Ignacio Espejo, and Edanys Espejo. He was predeceased by his brother, Almarante Espejo, and his sister, Dorys Espejo. Modesto is the treasured uncle to many nieces and nephews, godchildren, and many more extended family and close friends. He enjoyed listening to and playing music; and was also a devoted Yankees Fan. He will always be remembered for his loving smile. He was everyone's favorite family member and will be sadly missed by all who knew him and loved him. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 7th, 2015 from 3:00pm-7:00pm in Funeraria Alvarez, 66 Passaic Avenue, Passaic NJ. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 8th, 2015 at 9:00am in St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey Street, Paterson NJ. Burial, to follow, at 10:30am in East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Avenue, Clifton NJ.
