Nilda Maria Diaz

Nilda Maria Diaz (69) of Paterson, passed away on Saturday, July 4th, 2015. Born in Camuy, Puerto Rico to Isidro Perez Butter and Bernardina Velez. Nilda is pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Manuel Diaz. Survived by her 4 children, Miguel, of Paterson, Lillian, of Jefferson, Marisol, of Pennsylvania, and Erivelto, of Woodland Park; 4 sisters, Nelida, Irma, and Carmen, of Puerto Rico and Aixa, of Paterson; 4 brothers, Manuel, of Paterson, William, of Puerto Rico, Anibal, of Paterson, and Juan, of West Milford. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. Nilda was well known for her delicious meals, and her cooking will be dearly missed. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9th, 2015 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm in Funeraria Alvarez, 66 Passaic Avenue, Passaic NJ. Chapel service will take place on Friday, July 10th, 2015 at 10:30am in East Ridgelawn Crematory, 255 Main Avenue, Clifton NJ.
