Pablo Mestre of Clifton, 88, was sent to his eternal home on Friday November 1, 2024 in Passaic New Jersey.

He was born on March 2, 1936 in Humacao, Puerto Rico. He was a devoted husband for over 50 years to Carmen Mestre, who passed in 2008. He was a beloved father to Paul, Nanette Darlene, Kenneth, and Kevin and grandfather to Yasmeen Hanan. He was a faithful Roman Catholic and Parishioner of St. Phillips Catholic Church in Clifton NJ.

After serving in the United States National Guard of Puerto Rico at age 19, Pablo traveled stateside, settling in Passaic NJ to make a better life for his family.

He met and married his wife and settled in the Passaic Park and worked as an electrical machinist at the Okonite Cable Company for many years until his retirement. Pablo became a recognized business man who owned and managed many rental properties in the City of Passaic which provided a wonderful life for his wife and four children.

He was a generous man who always helped anyone in need and believed in the value of honest hard work.

He will be greatly missed by his children, grandchild, daughter in law, relatives, and friends in his community
