Ramon Lopez

Ramon Lopez (84) peacefully passed away surrounded by loved ones on March 2nd, 2023 in Port Charlotte, Flroida.

He was predeceased by his wonderful wife Rosalia Lopez, his beloved siblings Leonardo Lopez, Rueben Lopez, Elba Lopez and Laura Lopez; and he is survived by his sister, Aida Lopez. He devoted his career to the NJ Board of Education; and was a resident of Paterson, New Jersey for 55 years. He was affectionately known as the “Mayor of Paterson”, amongst his family. He leaves behind countless nieces and nephews who will always cherish his memory. More importantly, he will be missed by his son, daughters and their spouses; Anaida and Osvaldo, Brenda and Marc, Ramon and Jacqueline. He will be missed by his grandchildren Jessica, Darius, Cassandra, Jasmine, Jaylene, Damon, Mya, Jordyn-Rose, Ayden and Summer-Rose.

May he rest in eternal peace with his wife Rosalia Lopez.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 9th, 2023 from 5:00pm-9:00pm in Funeraria Alvarez, 66 Passaic Avenue, Passaic NJ. Entombment will be held on Friday, March 10th, 2023 at 10:45am in Laurel Grove Cemetery, 295 Totowa Road, Totowa NJ.
