Roberto Cabrera

Roberto “Rob” Cabrera, of Wantage, formerly of Passaic, passed surrounded by family on November 14th, 2022 at approximately 6:47 pm.

Roberto is a former graduate of Felician University and former employee of both Costco in Clifton (of 26 years) and Idexx Laboratories (Lab Technician of 13 years). He was a beloved son, brother, uncle and boyfriend. Roberto is survived by his parents Ana R. Cabrera of Wantage and Remigio L. Cabrera of Passaic, NJ. His brother Ramon, wife Militza and nieces Kaitlyn and Bethany, of Wantage, his brother Jose Miguel, wife Kimberly and nieces Ellanora and Addison, of Wantage, his sister Jalene of Trenton and adoring girlfriend, Cassandra Saint Louis, of Stamford, CT.

Additionally, Roberto is survived by extended family and many friends. He was a member and Past Worshipful Master of Boiling Springs Lodge No. 152 in Rutherford, NJ. He was loved greatly, and his memory will be cherished always. The family would like to thank the Oncology department at Hackensack University Medical Center and the ICU staff for their amazing care and kindness.

Visitation will take place Sunday, November 20th at Funeraria Alvarez, 66 Passaic Avenue, Passaic NJ between the hours of 3 pm and 8 pm. Prior to funeral services, friends and family will gather at Funeraria Alvarez at 9 am. A funeral mass will take place on Monday, November 21st, at 10 am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church, 10 Saint Francis Way, Passaic. Following the funeral mass, the burial will take place at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Avenue, Clifton. The repass will be at Boiling Springs Lodge No. 152, located at 169 Park Ave., Rutherford, NJ.
