Rock Rosas, born on November 27, 1961, in Passaic, New Jersey, passed away on February 20, 2026.
Rocky Rosas was a fighter in every sense of the word — a man whose strength reached far beyond the boxing ring. With determined eyes and a fearless heart, he met life the way he met every opponent: standing tall, grounded in courage, and unwilling to back down.
In the ring, he moved with power and purpose. Each round told a story of discipline, resilience, and heart. But outside the ropes, Rocky was something even greater — a protector, a mentor, and a steady presence for those he loved.
For over 30 years, he worked faithfully for the Passaic Valley Water Commission, dedicating himself to honest work and quiet service. Just as he showed discipline in boxing, he showed commitment in his career — providing, building, and supporting his family with pride. His work ethic was unwavering, and his reliability spoke volumes about the man he was.
He taught us that true champions are not measured by titles alone, but by the kindness they show, the responsibilities they carry, and the love they leave behind.
Though the final bell has rung, Rocky Rosas remains our forever champion — his spirit echoing in every act of courage, every moment of strength, and every memory that continues to inspire us.
Our Family Wishes to acknowledge: (wife) Bridget, (step-daughter) Nachima, (son) Rock Ali, (daughter) Jacquala, three granddaughters and a grandson. Siblings: Santos, Jack, Carmen, Jeannette, Roger, Lisa, Rosa, baby Grace, and Papito.
