Simitrio Benitez, (77), of Paterson, passed away on Friday, August 9th, 2013. Born in Mexico to Leobardo Benitez and Liboria Garcia. Beloved husband of Geronima Benitez (nee de Dios). He was a self-employed farmer for many years. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 16th, 2013 from 5:00pm-9:00pm and Saturday, August 17th, 2013 from 2:00pm-6:00pm in Funeraria Alvarez, 66 Passaic Avenue, Passaic NJ. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 17th, 2013 at 9:00am in St. Anthony's Church, of Paterson NJ. Burial will take place in Cementerio Municipal de Axutla, in Puebla, Mexico.
